2015 Survey and Compilation of Monumental Inscriptions

The survey carried out in May 2015 located and photographed all of the headstones.

Also Rachel daughter of John and Janet Thomson and widow of James Grindlay d. at Edinburgh 12.11.1861 aged 86 and is interred in the family tomb South Leith Church Yard 071 [large obelisk] Sacred to the memory of Janet Anderson, wife of John Thomson Esq, Burntisland, who died 12 Decr 1807 aged 69 years. A woman of exalted piety, deep humility, great benevolence, sincerely regretted by a numerous circle at friends. Also of the said John Thomson, who died 6 June 1818 aged 68 years.
